Product: HP ENVY Phoenix h9-1386
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Over some time, I have had problems here and there watching videos, but nothing major. Recently, I bought a new game, and the graphics are just terrible. I set everything to low, everything to high, custom, random. I tried everything, and the game looks so bad. Pixels are easily noticeable, and the frame rate is bad. The video skips as well, when moving around in the game.

 

I am wondering if it is possible to replace my graphics card with a new one, either the same or an upgrade.

@CosmicIcedTea, welcome to the forum.

 

The first thing that you should do is update the driver for your current video card.  I would us the the "Automatically Detect and Install Your Driver" option.  This will assure that you have the latest version.

 

If that doesn't solve your problem you can upgrade the card.  If you let me know the name of the game that you are trying to play, I will check the system requirememts and help you chose a new video card.
