Solved!

Can not get HP Montor 22 to connect to HP Laptop running windows 10.

HP Recommended
HiP 22.
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

have the following problem I cannot get HP22 Montor to connect to my HP laptop using HDIM Cable all I get on the screen is the following error message input signal Not found HDMI check the video cable and video source,

any help to get this problem is fixed would be appreciated

@Matthew6 Please check if the monitor works on an alternate device using the same HDMI cable, if it does, try the below steps:

 

Step 1: Use the correct HDMI cable for your HDMI device

 

Most HDTV devices have more than one HDMI input port, therefore it is very important that the HDMI display's input source is set to the same HDMI port that is connected to your computer, for example HDMI 2 to HDMI 2.

 

If your computer and HDMI device use different cable types, you can purchase adapters. See Overview of HDMI and DVI Connections for PCs for more information.

Hello,

windows 10 does not detect the Montor when HDMI cable is plug in, so I download the HP detect but when I ran the software could not detect the Montor, is the Montor faulty.

please can you let me know.
