Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I recently bought both the HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-3025t computer and the HP E24d G4 FHD USB-C Docking Monitor. For starters, I will admit that I am not the most technologically-gifted person, and I have been unable to figure out how to connect these two items together. I have reviewed the "directions" that came with each, as well as searched online for a "straight answer", and have simply come up empty. Certainly these two items are functional together, right? Or have I made an error in purchasing the wrong monitor for my HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-3025t computer? Any and all assistance with this would be certainly appreciated! Thank you!
