Caps lock popup notification

Hello recently I have noticed that when I press caps lock a notification pops up on my screen. When I am playing games and try to press caps lock the notification pops up on my screen but it doesn't allow me to use that button in game. For example my keybind to turn on thermals is caps lock and when I press it, the notification pops up but it doesn't activate thermals. Any help would be much appreciated.
