Check video cable

Hello guys, my hp monitor it’s showing this next message on screen “Check video cable” I have tried so many other HDMI cables and I also try a HDMI to dvi connection, but it’s still showing the same message on screen.. 

I went trough the internet and I see that HP monitor have a “HDMI connector (digital) select models” Does that mean an specific HDMI cable ? 
I am using a play station 4 to use my monitor with HDMI cable. 
I got this monitor not a while ago and I don’t know what is going on with it.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are not getting any display on the monitor when connected to the play station.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

Are you using any converters/adapters to connect the monitor to the PS4?

What is the exact model of your monitor?

Meanwhile, I recommend you connect the monitor to a Windows PC and check whether the display is working fine.
