Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Connecting 2nd Monitor to HP Envy 23 -d284 AIO with HDMI In only. New to Telecommuting, need 2 screens to be productive.

Hi,

You could use a USB 3.0 to HDMI adapter to set up a second monitor.

Example:

You're welcome. Let me know how it works out. You might need to install the Display link drivers and be patient the first time you connect monitor/TV as it can take a couple of minutes while the OS identifies and sets up the Display.
