Connect to displays HP Pavilion 570-p070nd

HP Recommended
HP Pavilion 570-p070nd
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to connect a second display to my HP Pavilion 570-p070nd. Both my displays are missing a VGA connection. My qustion is if I can use the USB-C connection to connect my seccond display.

When I search for this I get mixed answers, Is there anyone that can give me an answer if the USB port can be used for that?

@Jemmie

Your machine has

Front I/O ports

  • USB 3.0: 1
  • USB 3.0-Type C: 1
  • Headphone/Microphone: 1

and

Back I/O ports:

Figure : Lubin back I/O panel

Lubin back I/O panel

  1. VGA
  2. HDMI out
  3. USB 3.0: 2
  4. USB 2.0: 2
  5. LAN (Ethernet)
  6. Audio jacks

The information for USB 3.0-Type C is not clear therefore my suggestion: use one USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 port at the back ro connect second monitor and an USB HDMI adapter can do the job.

Regards.

Thanks for your reply, but that it's not clear, I know, that’s why I ask this question.

And I know about the option to get a adapter to connect a HDMI to USB, but it is more expensive than just using the built-in video option when I can use USB-C.

So I want to know if USB-C, on this computer, can be used as a video output.
