HP Pavilion All in one 24 k0202a
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just bought the HP Pavilion All-in-one 24-k0202a and was very specific that I study and work from home and use multiple monitors.  I have just set it up, called JBHIFI who I bought it from, who have told me that I will only be able to connect one monitor to the desktop.  Is it possible to connect x 2 monitors?

@PrettyRoss

Its specs

Its motherboard

      https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06648548

which shows it has following ports at its back

Back I/O ports

  • (1) HP 3-in-1 media card reader (supports SD, SDHC, and SDXC)
  • (1) USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port (5 Gbps data signaling rate)
  • (3) USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports (5 Gbps data signaling rate)
  • (1) HDMI v1.4/HDCP 2.2 output port
  • (1) HDMI v1.4/HDCP 1.4 input port
  • (1) RJ-45/Ethernet port
  • (1) Power input port

As you can see it has

  • ONE HDMI out port which allows you to connect to a second display
  • ONE HDMI in port which allow you to connect to a games console (such as PS4 or XBox) and use its screnn as a monitor.

My final answer is yes, you can connect to a second monitor (total 2 including its monitor) using HDMI out port.

Hi Banhien, thank you so much for your reply. I have attached a photo of my setup to give more clarity of what I want to do. I don't want to connect to a game console.  I was very clear when speaking to the retailer when purchased what I wanted to do.  I need to work from 3 x screens for study and work from home.  The HDMI does not allow 2 x screens (monitors, as in pxt). I have seen in the forum, someone used a USB 3.0 to HDMI Adapter - DisplayLink Certified - 1080p (1920x1200) - USB Type-A to HDMI Display Adapter Converter for Monitor - External Video & Graphics Card - Windows/Mac (USB32HDPRO) and it worked.  If this is not the case, I will have to take desktop back to the retailer.  also the retailer (JBHIFI Mount Maunganui, NZ) is advertising in the description of this desktop that the C port is for display.  But I have tried the C port and my 2nd monitor is still not working. Please advise as soon as possible.  thankyou
