HP Pavilion All-in-One - 24-xa0070a
Microsoft Windows 11

I have a HP Pavillion All in One xa0070a. I now have a work laptop and I was hoping to connect the laptop to my all-in-one and extend the screens across the laptop and all-in-one monitor.

Is this possible with my desktop?

Thanks.

@LCJ_10

Its specs

       https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06309222

It has

  • 2 USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C™;
  • 3 USB 3.1 Type A (1 support battery fast charging 1.1);
  • 1 HDMI-in 1.4;
  • 1 HDMI-out 1.4;
  • 1 headphone/microphone combo

The HDMI in port is suitable for games consoles such as XBox, PS* devices. I should also work for other sources to be able to use it as a monitor.

Regards.

Hi Banhien,

I've tried connecting my laptop to my HP All in One via a HDMI cable which I've plugged into HDMI in on my HP. Under Advanced Display Settings, my laptop is showing Display 1 as Internal Display and Display 2 as HP All In One so it appears as though it's connected. However, it's not appearing on my HP and both devices are saying that it can't detect another display. Can you please advise what I can do to resolve this so I can extend my laptop screen across my HP Pavillion?

Thanks!
