HP Z38c 37.5-inch Curved Display
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi, our organization just took delivery of a dozen HP Z38 Curved Display monitors. Would anybody have suggestions as to how we can display images from two computers on to this screen at the same time e.g. side by side?

Thanks.

@Zarou

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

Sorry, but that is not possible.

There is equipment known as KVM switches which allow you to connect multiple PCs to a monitor through the switch, but that switch then only connects to one PC at a time.

Thanks but I wanted to display the images from both computers at the same time on the monitor. KVM switches which we have, as you mentioned, only switch from one to the other, not simultaneously.

As I already told you, as far as I know, that is not possible -- as each of the video drivers in each of the PCs will want to be able to manage the entire display area, not part of it.

for the other two-computers-one-monitor question.

My original reply is below -- it is a different situation, namely one-computer-two-monitors --  through one graphics adapter.

where a different person asked the same question on this forum.

The responses to that question were the same -- unless the monitor supports "Picture-In-Picture", like some HDTVs do, it is not possible.
