Product: HP Chromebook X2
Operating System: Chrome OS

The chrome book is 2 months old and when using last night the screen went black with white vertical line flashing.  Sometimes the black lights up but the flashing continues.  Tried the refresh by pressing refresh key and power with no results.  Can't read anything on screen because of the black and flashing.  Any help would be great.

To assist you better, what is the exact model of HP Chromebook you are using?

Refer to this document to know how to find the Product Name or Product Number.

 

Connect an external monitor by using a HDMI cable and check if the issue persists on the external monitor.

 

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
