Example: Pavilion X360

Hi! It looks like it was an update on my main screen. I would like to know how do I get my desktop as my main screen or display. I can't see my files or photos on my desktop. Right now when I turn on  my laptop   it shows me all the apps, games ... I just want to have my desktop files on my landing page.

Your screen might be in "Tablet" mode.

Settings > System > Tablet mode

In the drop-down menu under "When I sign in"

Select

Use the appropriate mode for my hardware

OR

Use Desktop mode

OR

(and this starts the Windows Start Screen)

Use Tablet mode

Next, In the drop-down menu under "When this device automatically switches tablet mode on or off"

Select

Always ask me before switching

OR
Don't ask me and don't switch

OR

(and this one will decide for you)

Don't ask me and always switch
