So I initially had the blue screen of death and the code was thread stuck in device driver. So I decided to update my drivers and I went to my display drivers and updated them, it was taking a while and eventually the screen just turned black and I couldn't do anything. So I opened it up in safe mode and disabled those drivers and the problem was fixed, except when I try to play games the fps is terrible and unplayable. I have 2 drivers there and only one of them causes me to have a black screen, but when disabled it causes very low fps. What can I do?

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

Please provide a HP product number only.

I would:

Identify the graphics card installed in the PC.

Download the latest graphics card driver for this piece of hardware.

Uninstall all current graphics card drivers until you are using the generic Windows video driver.

Install the new graphics card driver.

Regards
