HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 15m-ed0023dx

Several months ago I had an issue where, without any carelessness to cause damage, even without having used my laptop in several days, I opened my laptop to do some work and found that my right hinge (when facing towards the screen) had been displaced because a screw welded to connect the screen and backboard had come undone inside of the computer. This was further developed when a few days later a second screw came undone due to the tension buildup. I had no idea what the cause of this issue was, so I took it into several repair specialists who gave me the same answers: it is unrepairable save for a complete replacement that would cost about $200. Now, I did not want to spend this money so I decided I would live with the issue, as it is not catastrophic to the laptops function, and it works completely fine so long as you are careful, so I chalked the issue up to me being careless at some point. Cut several months later, when my brother, who purchased the exact same laptop a few months after I did, calls me asking about the exact same issue that just happened to him today but on the left side of his display. He came with the exact story I did, however has already put money down towards that 200 to get a new display. This leads me to believe this is a relatively common issue, and that I was right initially when I couldn't think of any improper handling that caused my display to break. My question here is, then, what can HP do to right this wrong that happened to my laptop, as getting a new laptop would be very financially straining, and I do not want to spend $200 to temporarily fix a flawed product. As for anyone who has experience with this product having this issue, what future issues might I be able to expect? The laptop is crucial to my work so I cannot exactly let it break but I also would not prefer to limit my finances due to flawed hardware. Thank you to anyone who reads this and helps me out!!!! for some extra information this is an i7 1.5GHz with 12 GB ram and 475 GB storage
