HP Envy All In One Desktop
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have a HP ENVY 27-p014, 27” IPS Full HD (1920 x 1080) Touchscreen, Intel Core i5-6400T, 12GB, Windows 10 All-in-One Desktop PC

I had my display settings all set up so that my old eyes could see everything easily. Now, after an update a couple days ago, all my display settings are gone and I can't seem to get them back!  The problems are; being able to find text boxes (search box, chat boxes, etc.) because the box blends right into the white background. I've played around with display options (brightness is at 0, dark and light filters, etc.) but nothing is helping; and alot of the text on different webpages is so light in color that its hard to make the words out against the white background. There's no contrasted definition to anything and there are no contrast settings! Is there something I can do to fix this? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

This sounds like a display graphic driver related issue, let's install the system software and drivers using HP support assistant.

Perform Windows Update and HP Support Assistant:

To check for updates now, select the Start button, and then go to Settings  > Update & security  > Windows Update, and select Check for updates.

Install updates from HP Support Assistant: Go to Download HP Support Assistant to install the tool.

  1. To open HP Support Assistant, double-click the HP Support Assistant icon https://support.hp.com/doc-images/932/c05040382.jpg.
  2. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
  3. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
  4. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
  5. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
  6. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

And, also try downloading the drivers from Intel website directly using the auto-detect tool: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
