HP Pavilion Laptop Model 15-cs2501na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I would like to be able to connect my HP Pavilion Laptop Model 15-cs2501na laptop to my two HP2065 monitors (each with DVI inputs) and be able to extend the display so I can have separate windows displayed on each monitor. The ability to power the laptop from the docking station would be a bonus.

Hi @Ashteadblue

first of all what ports do you use ? if you use the USB-C port your laptop is not DisplayPort compatible and you cannot connect a second display.

Hi resistencia,

I can use the  laptop HDMI port.

Also I do have a Lenovo USB3 dock with two DVI ports that would connect to the DVI ports in my monitors. I wondered if I can use that but not sure what input from laptop I can use. I assume that that USB or ethernet to the laptop wouldn't be sufficient to send signal to monitors?

Thanks,

You can only use the HDMI port for a single display, and you should find an HDMI to DVI adapter, as indicated the USB ports are not compatible with DisplayPort and do not transmit image, only data.
