The response time for this monitor is 5ms...which is the minimum spec for flicker free monitor. It is not PWM dimming to my knowledge.

I am an HP employee.

Hi Vidya,

could you please confirm that its not PWM (or if so)?

To my knowledge: The Panel is LC430EQE-FHA1

(and it was confirmed in a pdf which i just cannot find (a compliance statement which mentions hp z43 and the panel name)

is stated that

"Though PWM frequency is over 182Hz (max252Hz), function of backlight is not affected"

and "The reference method of burst dimming duty ratio" and "The electrical characteristics of LED driver are based on Constant Current driving type" (page 6)

furthermore it is stated that this panel is a tv panel:

I would most appreciate your answer as I love the monitor and its specs but I would avoid PWM and flickering (even if there should only be non-visuble, subtile flickering) for health reasons,
