Get 6 BEEP Post Errors installing GeForce- GT730 2GB DDR PCI-E 64BIT card in HP 8200 ELITE SFF

Not sure what to do, I've tried installing in both the dark and light colored slots … checked BIOS not disabled …  although when I disable the slots, the machine boots with no post when card inserted …  From everything I read this card should work … low power, 64 bit  .. Any ideas to get by the 6 BEEP Post

Hi:

What BIOS version are you on?

I have two 8200 Elite CMT's.

One has the Zotac Nvidia GT 730 and the other one has the Nvidia GT 1030.  Both worked fine from the get-go.

The BIOS version I had installed (and still do) is v 2.28.

Maybe there is something wrong with the card?

Yeah .. just using for a MAME Arcade .. so wasn't looking for that high end … not sure why this is a problem, although you are running a slightly older BIOS ..
