@senthilkumarj,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Your HP Pavilion 590-P0078in (4LX95AA), according to: https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/c06035811, is fitted with a 310-watt power supply, and the HP Lincs motherboard (SSID: 843B).

If you don't want to upgrade your power supply, a GTX 1650 4GB is going to be your best option unless you upgrade your PSU to the 400-watt or 500-watt power supply options as seen here:

But you certainly can do better. I would strongly recommend purchasing the L04618-800 (400-watt) power supply, which is fitted with one 6+2 PCIe power cable needed for many graphics cards.  You can purchase one via eBay starting at $75 -a great deal, btw -in my opinion: HP L04618-800 for sale | eBay.

I also upgraded the power supply on my most recent HP legacy desktop upgrade project (an HP ProDesk 600 G3 MT) with a similar 400-watt power supply (p/n: 942332-001), and it powers an HP Nvidia RTX 3060 12GB GDDR6 just fine: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Upgrading-HP-ProDesk-600-G3-MT/....

If interested, you could purchase an HP or Dell-branded RTX 3060 starting at $267 via eBay.

However, I digressed.

You asked for an 8GB graphics card. I would recommend an RX 6600 8GB GDDR6, such as the ASRock RX 6600 Challenger 8GB GDDR6: https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/asrock-rx-6600-challenger-itx.b9273, which you can purchase starting around $200 via eBay, or consider the Sapphire PULSE RX 6600 8GB GDDR6https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/sapphire-pulse-rx-6600.b9270, which you can purchase starting at $175 via eBay: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=Sapphire+PULSE+RX+6600&_sacat=0&Power%2520Cable%2520R....

In any regards, pick a smaller-sized two-fan version, as the larger three-fan versions will not fit in your desktop.

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
