Product: Example: Pavilion Power 580-140 ng DT PC GR

Their is no video output from my relatively new PC. The screen works, but none of the video outputs from the desktop. How do I determine what graphics cards mignt be compatible?

I disconnected all cables to get the box on rather than under the desk. Took off the cover to check which graphics card, air dusted , plugged back in and it worked for a brief while then screen went blank. Switched off at power switch, left it 20 mins and restarted. Still working 20 mins later.
