The specs all show the HDMI port on the back of the AIO screen - but nothing is listed as to whether this is an HDMI INput or OUTput?

It's my father's computer, at a remote location, so I can not simply test it out for him and have been forced to ask for help because the tech specs leave out that crucial bit of information.

Basically, it's near his TV, his vision is bad, and he would like to watch movies/Netflix on his larger TV by outputting the signal if possible.

Thanks!

Greetings @PixelFreak

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are looking to know if the HDMI port on your HP Pavilion 24-B010Z computer is an input or output.

Not to worry, I will be glad to help.

Have you tried to connect it to your TV and check?

Very few computers have an option for HDMI input and those computers have multiple HDMI ports and are marked IN if the option is available.

The HDMI port on your computer is an HDMI output.

If you need assistance in connecting it to your computer, please refer to this HP Article

If you are facing any issues in projecting it to your TV. Make sure the correct HDMI source is selected on your TV.

Make sure all the drivers are updated on your computer using HP Support Assistant. Click here

For other troubleshooting steps, please refer to this HP Article

Let me know if this helped.
