HELP! please help, 3rd time that happened, again, black screen out of nowhere, numbers key and caps work, but no sound. 1st time like 3 weeks ago, follow instructions on the virtual agent, fixed and diagnostic, but until I contact HP Chat they got into PC and update BIOS and else, work for a week and again, chat with HP, and advise that need to uninstall the MCAFEE antivirus, that was causing it, that the was not the HP , did it, but again, a week later out of nowhere happened again, just now, i only have 1 month of HP warranty left. I used for my business, losing it on working hours, nobody will pay for those down time hours that not making money ...

Let me check your basic system configuration.

 

(1) Run    msinfo32

- Select <System Summary>:

--->>> Copy/screenshot/paste following key/value pairs:

 

OS Name

Version

System Model

System SKU

( equals HP product number (p/n) )

Processor

BIOS Version/Date

 

(2) Start Windows <Device Manager>

- Expand <Other devices> ?

- Expand <Disk drives>

- Expand <Display adapters>

- Expand <Monitors>

- Expand <Network adapters>

- Expand <Sound, video and game controllers>

It is not working and there is a history of problems.  Get a replacement or get it fixed by HP.  

Verify the warranty you paid for is in effect
