I lost the power supply to my monitor during a move. I've checked under the HP provided spec's and all it says is 22w max. When I search for replacements, they all reference the 20xi and not the 20bw. Is there any difference I need to be aware of?
Also, how can I confirm the "barrel" size? There seem to be a couple replacement HP power supplies, from a deluge of manufacturers, but there is nothing on the monitor to confirm which one I need.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you Paul for that information. I am having some difficulty finding a specific reference to the 20bw however there are few that reference the 20xi. Are they the same? Or, more correctly, do hey use the same power supply and barrel size?

Below is the link to the parts list for your monitor:
The power adapter part number and description is:
700392-001 | A/C Adapter - 30Watt/19V-APD |
What I suggest you do is to go on eBay and see if you can find a genuine used but tested and working HP power adapter that references that part number.
As second resort, you can find an aftermarket one that references the HP part number.

You're very welcome.
Look for a power supply that references the HP part number.
Unfortunately, I wouldn't know if the one you found would work because it doesn't mention your model PC or the HP part number I posted.
The 19V might be fine but the wattage (I don't see 30W mentioned) and power jack may be too large or too small.
Amazon should accept returns on the one you want to buy if it isn't the right one, correct?

I went through about a dozen similar listings and searched various places and the only one that actually mentioned the 20bw was eBay. Sadly, since I am in Canada, the eBay shipping costs are absurd ($50 S&H for a $10 PSU).
Almost all the entries on Amazon mentioned the HP part number. None mentioned the 20bw and all were 65w. So, I took a chance and ordered this one. So far, seems to work just fine. Delivered, it was $25 CDN.
I would still like to know what the difference is between the 20bw and the 20xi though. Thank you
