HP 27” er Display
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, i have two HP 27” er displays one of which is fully functions but the other displays a white led in the back of the monitor when plugged in but is unresponsive and does not turn on. Is there anyway this can be fixed ?

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Are you able to see the white spot even when the monitor is turned off?
  • Could you please share the picture of the display?

Because the warranty is expired i decided to open the monitor and it turns out a fr9889 component on the driver board exploded which isn’t allowing power to reach the monitor screen. Is there a replacement part that can be sent out ?
