HP 290 G1 Microtower PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Switched on the PC today and got a message saying that it was updating windows, at this point the display looked OK. As the update was applied the computer restarted repeatedly. After one of these updates the background started to go from cyan to a green colour. Following the update being applied and the computer restarting areas of the screen that should be black are now mid-green in colour. other areas have a reddish hue to them.

Questions are:

1. Is this likely to be the windows 10 update messing up my drivers? (Have updated drivers with those currently  on the HP website for the machine with no improvement)

2. Has the graphics hardware  potentially failed when being restarted repeatedly?

3. Any other suggestions on what this could be and how to fix it rather than immediately sending the computer back to the shop?

I have tried the following already - using the computer connected to a different HDMI port on the TV ( no change), plugging the HDMI cable into a different source (laptop screen was displayed perferctly on TV so cable and HDMI port seem OK). Have tried updtaing drivers with those on HP website (no change).

The computer is only a week or so old so not sure if this is an early failure or Windows 10 has messed things up. Any help would be appreciated.
