Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Looking to add a second monitor for my desktop, but unsure what card is needed or what to get since the expnasion slot is in a tight space.  Does the card need to have 2 hdmi outputs?  It is not a gaming rig, just for a small home office setting and basic photo/video editing.  I'm also looking into upsizing the HDD, but I do not see another slot for a SATA connection. Safe to assume the primary drive needs to be copied onto a larger HDD?  Thanks

@ Homeward_Bound,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I Checked the specifications of your computer and below are the expansion slots available on your computer.

  • One PCI Express x16
  • One M.2 socket 1, key A
  • One M.2 socket 3, key M

You can add an SSD on the computer and install any graphics card which supports PCI Express x16 slot. Also, make sure that you upgrade the power supply based on the power requirement of the graphics card.

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Cheers!
