Microsoft Windows 11

My HP all-in-one will not detect a connected monitor at all. The hdmi cable is brand new and is connected to the one HDMI port on both the secondary monitor and the all-in-one itself.

the model corresponding to this number will therefore be
HP Desktop - M01-F1033wb

Give the full version of windows

for windows 10 type winver in the search box
if you give the best information
your problem could have a solution more quickly (depending on the difficulty, of course)

What is your HP AIO machine ? HP does have

 

  • some AIO machines do not have HDMI port at all
  • some AIO machines only have HDMI in port
  • some AIO machines only have HDMI out port
  • some AIO machines have both

Does your machine have HDMI out port ? You need that port to connect to an external monitor.

 

If not, you can use a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

                                     USB to HDMI Adapter

 

to connect.
