Product: HP E14 G4 Portable Monitor
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

Hi guys, I need help setting up my extra monitor. I can't connect the HP E14 G4 Portable Monitor with my MacBook Air (2015). I tried every cable setup, restarting, rebooting & resetting. The input signal is inactive & cannot be found (USB-C).

I am currently trying a USB to USB-C cable to connect the two, as my MacBook doesn't have USB-C.

 

What can I do to make this work? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
