HP E243d doesn't auto-wake up while connected via USB-B

HP Recommended

Hi guys, I found out that my monitor doesn't wake up until I push any hardware button on the monitor when Laptop is connected via USB -B uplink. (Using Display Link via USB A/B). Apparently it seems the power saving switches off the entire USB dock incl. uplink ports which prevents the monitor recognising the input signal to "wake up". I found out when I switch off the USB power saving mode then it works. But is that a bug or feature? I would think the device should at least be able to detect active video input via USB even in USB power saving mode. Any ideas?
