HP ENVY 23-1070 All-in-One Desktop PC

Hi there,

I am running an HP Envy 23 all-in-one model 1070 and a Lenovo IdeaPad(brand new). I know my HP is over 10 years old, but I have taken great care of it. I'm trying to set up my HP to extend or my Lenovo to extend. Either one of these will work for what I need. My HP doesn't have an HDMI port whatsoever, so I purchased a USB(male) to HDMI(female) adapter. Both computers have the option to extend the screen by pressing the windows key and "P". I am running Windows 10 home (64 bit) What am I missing here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS: I was able to Miracast my Lenovo to my HP, but that was about it and not what I was looking for.

@Albatr0ss

Connecting TWO HDMI out ports together won't give you anything if not damage them. In short, that is NOT going to work both sides.

Hope this makes sense

Regards
