@Mikhail8

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand, the screen is flickering,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

When was the last time it worked fine?

Were there any hardware/software changes made?

Have you tried updating graphics drivers?

I recommend checking if the issue appears on the BIOS screen (restart the computer and tap on F10 to access BIOS)

If the issue does not appear in BIOS, reinstall the graphics card drivers & update BIOS our HP website: Click here

Let me know how this goes,

Have a great day 🙂

Cheers 🙂

Flicker occurs most often when using a monitor in 4k resolution. latest drivers for monitor installed. I reinstall the graphics driver but it did not help.
My PC: Xeon 2680v2, x79z 2.4E, 32gb, gigabyte gtx 1080 Xtreme edition.

In different games the monitor flickers only in 4k resolution. but in Final Fantasy 15, it flickers even at a resolution of 2560x1450

Thanks for responding,

Does this happen only while playing games or in other applications also?

Please check in BIOS and let me know.

Cheers 🙂

Flicker happened when viewing a photo in Windows.
What need to do in the BIOS? where can I get an update for Bios? on the site in the drivers section there is only for the monitor driver.

Thank you for responding,

It's great to have you back 😉

Perform Monitor self-test:

  • Unplug the monitor cable from the back of the PC
  • Check if you get any message such as cable unplugged, check video cable.

For more troubleshooting steps, you could refer to this document: https://support.hp.com/in-en/product/hp-envy-27s-27-inch-display/13673507/document/bph05236#AbT3

Let me know 🙂

Cheers 🙂

I use dvi cable, but testing HDMI and problem don't solved. These flicker are more like a sharp on/off of monitor. Please looks my videos one more time

@isroy
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

  1. Unplug the power cord from the back of the monitor and the wall
  2. Hold the power button down for at least one minute
  3. Plug the power cord back into the monitor and then into the wall outlet (not a power bar or surge protector)
  4. Press the Menu button on the monitor
  5. Navigate to the Factory Reset option and select it

Also, I would suggest connect the monitor directly to the wall outlet and check if it helps.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
