Product: HP ENVY Desktop - 795-0137cb
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
The monitor on my HP Envy Desktop 795-0137cb will go black and then redisplay the desktop. This does not happen with any specific frequency like every 10 secs but will happen quite frequently.
These are the steps I have done to try and diagnosis and solve the issue.
- I tried my monitor on another computer and it worked fine.
- I tried a working monitor from another desktop and that monitor blanked out as well on the Envy desktop.
- I tried looking in BIOS for any weird video settings. While in BIOS the monitor never blanked out.
- I booted into safe mode and while in safe mode the monitor never blanked out.
- I reinstalled Windows saving my files. While in the restore process which lasted about 2 hours the monitor never blanked out.
- After reinstalling Windows which is now Windows 11 the blanking out of the monitor returned but seems to be longer between blacking out but is still quite frequent.
I have tried to see if I could update the driver for my video adapter, but it states it is part of Windows and when I look for an update it says it has the most recent driver. The display adapter is an Intel UHD Graphics 630.
Has anyone seen this? Or any suggestions?
