Hi I own a HP M27fq 27 Inch QHD Monitor I got it from Costco, and unfortunately I hadn’t used it until a week past the warranty date, so I cannot return it and on the HP site it is listed as out of warranty.
I have noticed when I plug in my MacBook, at random times the screen goes blank for 3 seconds and turns back on, and it does this continuously, making it impossible to get any useful work done with it. However, If I plug in my spare Dell device, it doesn’t go off.
The monitor is connected to a HP docking station, and the MacBook is also connected to the docking station via the usb c to c cable. I used the original HP cable and even got an Apple cable but the problem still persists.
Is there some compatibility issue with MacBooks and this monitor type, or a workaround for this?
