When we purchased this monitor on Amazon in July the box came with a big hole in it, but the monitor seemed ok. The delivery driver said we should definitely report it though. After using the monitor for a short time it began flickering. When it flickers there are white lines that run horizontal and vertical throughout the screen. It flashes like this about every 3-5 seconds, so it is completely unusable. When we tried to request a warranty replacement surprise surprise it expired about a month BEFORE we even owned it! So of course we attempted to contact the seller and report them to Amazon but absolutely nothing came of it. 

It is such a beautiful monitor and we loved it, till it stopped working. HP wont help us (even though we showed them all the documentation that proves we didn't own it when the warranty expired) so now I am trying to find another way to fix it. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this monitor working again without breaking the bank?

If you bought it on Amazon, insisted it's under warranty
See if by registering it, if you can, if that will fix the warranty issue

I registered it but the warranty states that it was begun in May and ended in June 😞
