Are HP monitors not compatible with macs these days? I got the Z27xs Dreamcolor to use with my M1 Macbook Pro. I'm using USB-C, and it does produce an image, but not a very good image.
I read the manual which directed me to download the HP Display Center from the App Store, the only problem is that the HP Display Center does not exist in the Mac store. It's also not available for Mac on the HP Website. So the manual is wrong/lying?
I have to turn HDR off on my Macbook to even be able to adjust color or brightness on the monitor. All of built in color settings on the monitor look pretty bad. Everything is washed out--poor contrast and color saturation and unnatural skin tones. Worse than my almost 20 year old Sony TV. Not what I was expecting from this monitor.
