HP Omen x 35" Curved Display
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently purchased the HP Omen X 35" curved display and was very pleased with the performance, however, during use I tried to run an app, the screen went black, however, I could still hear the app audio coming through my headphones. I tried everything from closing the window, switching to another window (which I know it did even though the display did not change because the sound through my headphones changed), and even using control+alt+delete in order to fix it, but the screen remained black. I turned the computer and monitor off and restarted both to attempt to fix the problem, and even though the monitor power button lit up, and the monitor backlight illuminated, no image or error message was displayed. Since then I've tried a range of other things to correct the problem but I still can't get an image to display, thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

@MateoP Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that the HP Omen X 35 Monitor Will Not Display Image.

Do not worry. I will try to fix the issue.

If you haven't, please try an alternate monitor to understand if this is either a hardware or a software failure,

if the issue does not appear on the alternate monitor, you may need to replace the display assembly on your computer,

if the issue appears on the alternate monitor/TV as well, re-install the graphics card drivers & update it from the official HP Website: Click here

If you don’t have an alternate monitor, I recommend checking if the issue appears on the BIOS screen (restart the computer and tap on F10 to access BIOS)

If the issue does not appear in BIOS, reinstall the graphics card drivers & update BIOS using the above link,
If it does, you may need to replace the LCD/Repair the computer:

If the issue occurred after an accident (such as dropping it on the floor, liquid spilled on it, etc.) there could be a hardware failure and in such cases, you may need to get the computer repaired via HP (there could be a charge involved if the PC isn't covered by the accidental damage protection plan)

Reply to the result of the above-mentioned steps, for further assistance.

I have tried using another monitor and the problem does not persist, as for updating via BIOS, on the monitor, the BIOS screen doesn't even display. There has so far been no accident or trauma with the display, I had only had it for less than a day when it stopped working. I'll try to update the drivers using another screen and check again.
