Pavilion 23bw monitor
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have had this monitor for some time and am very happy with it except for one annoying feature.  Lately it decides to shut down at random.  I have tried fiddling with the setting buttons at the bottom right hand side but to no avail.  I have no user manual.  It is linked to my HP Win 10 laptop.

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

The monitor will automatically determine which inputs have valid video signals. The inputs can be selected by pressing the +/source button on the front panel or through the On-Screen Display (OSD) feature by pressing the Menu button. Also, you can perform a factory reset on the display monitor from the OSD menu.

Here is the User Manual

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Thank you!  When I went into the settings I saw that the monitor was set to VGA.  I didn't realize I had to change it when I bought a new laptop and switched to an HDMI connection.  Hopefully that has solved the problem.  I will mark the issue resolved.
