Product: HP Pavilion 27q Display
Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey
Only when I disabled the HP Pavilion 27q Display Auto-Sleep mode did the monitor start to sync better. The timeout in the monitor firmware is too short for the Mac OS to lock on and push the display from the built in MBP to the external display.
Now I have a monitor I have to turn off.
I want to manually set the Auto sleep time out for something like 10 min that way even if the MBP goes to sleep and turns off the external DisplayPort to HDMI link the monitor will stay on long enough to wake the computer again before the sync is lost and the MBP starts to rescale the desktops.
Is there a way to manually set the Auto Sleep mode to a longer time?
