I left my computer at home for a week and when I returned to use it my HP Tilt Pen, which came with the laptop when I purchased it, had seemed to cease functioning. I restarted my computer and checked for updates. I then attempted to recalibrate it, however, my laptop did not recognize the pen in any way. The touchscreen is working perfectly so I know it isn't a problem with that, but I put this question in this category because I was unsure of where else it would fall.
This specific HP Tilt Pen doesn't require charging and there is no indication of it being on when in use (maybe there's a battery or something? I'm not sure but I don't feel like tearing apart my pen to find out).
I have an HP Spectre x360 Convertible running on Windows 10. I purchased it late Summer of 2019 and have had no issues with the pen or laptop until now. Everything else appears to be functioning flawlessly but the pen is not.
Any and all help is appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Hi@Meissa, Welcome to HP Support Community
I suggest you update the BIOS and Touchscreen drivers. Please download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...
HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook
-
Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
-
Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
-
Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
-
Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
-
Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
Also, ensure Windows is up to date.
Select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available

Thanks for getting back to me!
I downloaded the HP Support Assistant as you instructed, however, there were no updates for me to install. I also made sure my laptop was up to date with updates but I'm still having the issues.
