HP Recommended

My HP U28 flickers and crashes when connected to my M1 Macbook Pro (2020). When scrolling, it flickers and other apps flicker intermediately. It's clearly not Mac compatible despite being sold as such. I bought this yesterday and may as well have thrown my money down the drain. Did anyone find a fix? Why can't the fix be posted publically?
