HP X27q QHD Gaming Monitor
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

The Monitor HP X27Q was recently bought by me.

I have been facing a strange issue where when I turn on the Laptop or when the Laptop wakes up from Sleep Mode, the connected Monitor remains in its Sleep Mode.

The Monitor is connected via a HDMI cable and the cable is fine.

I usually use the 'Extend these displays' option when using the External monitor and choose the External Monitor as the Primary display. Now, when I turn on my laptop, all I get is a Monitor on sleep mode and a Black Screen on my Laptop.

Workaround I have been using:

Changing the option to 'Duplicate these displays' suddenly wakes the Monitor UP and then I change it to Extend these Displays option again.

The ' Duplicate these displays' option seems to be working fine while waking up from Sleep or while Switching-on however, the Extened these Displays has been causing this issues.

I used a LG monitor before this and there were no issues like these. However, straight out of the box I'm getting this issue.

Kindly help with regards to the matter.
