Product: HP Z2 Mini G3 Workstation

I am trying to add a second monitor and it works fine when I have my HP Z2 Mini G3 on and plug the second monitor in but if I turn it off or restart it, the system will not boot up correctly just showing black screens. I have to hard power it off and unplug the second screen before it will start up correctly.

The PC has integrated graphics and four display ports so I don't get why it can handle it find after being on but not during startup?

 

Any help would be greatly apricated!
