HP all in one desktop 24-cb1xxx
Microsoft Windows 11

PC wont detect second monitor. checked and replaced HDMI cable. tested with laptop. checked setting on monitor. think HDMI port is not working??

There is more to the model number than HP all in one desktop 24-cb1xxx , as the xxx's should be numbers IE: HP All-in-One 24-cb0090 All-in-One PC .

According to the spec page,  for a model that has the Mercedes motherboard, the HDMI is an output port.

If you need help with Windows to look at the other monitor,  look at the Settings app and then click on System, then Display.  Under the Scale & layout, there is a heading "Multiple displays"  Click on that to see if Windows will detect the other display by clicking "Detect other display"
