hello.
A couple of months ago, the touch screen on my laptop stopped working and here are the steps I did:
- went to the laptop shop.
result: they reinstalled the drivers and the touchscreen started working.
- after a couple of days, the touch screen of the laptop stopped working again and I again turned to the laptop store.
result: updating the driver did not help solve the problem, I was advised to go to the HP service center.
In the properties of the laptop, an inscription appeared that the laptop does not support touch input.
- I contacted the HP service center.
Result: the service center changed the touch screen hardware for me and after that the touch screen started working again.
- It took about a month and the touch screen stopped working again.
result: I checked the properties of the computer and the message appeared again: the laptop does not support touch input.
Then I decided to do a hard reset and it helped for 2-3 minutes. The touch screen began to work very slowly, an inscription appeared in the properties that the laptop supports touch input.
But as soon as I disconnected the charging cable, the touch input stopped working again. Next, I connected the charging cable, but without success.
Then I reset the laptop again, but it did not help. In the properties of the laptop again there is an inscription: This laptop does not support touch input.
Every time the touchscreen didn't work, the touch driver would disappear from Device Manager.
What should I do? Please help
