Hi!

I have HP 15.6 inch Laptop PC 15-d5000 (4V9Y1AV). Laptop is not detecting VGA Monitor (FLATRON W1953TE). I have used LAPCARE Adoptor. All the drivers and windows are updated. I'm able to connect same monitor with Dell lattitude 5420 laptop.

Kindly advice.

Hi!

Thank you for your reply. I checked the uSB ports available in laptop. Please find herewith the same as follows:

3)

USB SuperSpeed ports (2)
Connect a USB device, such as a cell phone, camera, activity tracker, or smartwatch, and provide high-speed data transfer.
(5)

USB Type-C port
Connects a USB device, such as a cell phone, camera, activity tracker, or smartwatch, and provides data transfer.
NOTE:
Cables and/or adapters (purchased separately) may be required.
(6)

HDMI port
Connects an optional video or audio device, such as a high-definition television, any compatible digital or audio component, or a high-speed High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) device.

As per my understanding, I can't USB C type to connect with VGA monitor. I need to connect HDMI to VGA monitor. WIll it work? IS there any adopter which connects HDMI to VGA?

Please correct me if I'm wrong and advise.

From HDMI (digital) to VGA (analog) you need a proper converter/adapter. To get a good working one, the price is probably very close to buying a new monitor with HDMI port. Why bother ?

If you wish, you can try

             https://computers.scorptec.com.au/computer/Hdmi-To-Vga?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIwNy9-bjy_AIVRkFgCh0DKwlNEAA...

Note: I have not tested them. I only tested many DVI (digital) to VGA (analog) adapters.

Regards.
