Hi @IJ15, I'm sorry to hear about the issue with your HP monitor. Let's work through some troubleshooting steps to identify and possibly resolve the problem.

1. Verify Power Supply

Test the Outlet: Plug another device (like a lamp or phone charger) into the same outlet to ensure it's providing power.

Try a Different Outlet: If the first outlet isn't working, try plugging the monitor into a different one.

Use the Original Power Cable: Even though you've used another 65W adapter, it's crucial to use the original power cable designed for your monitor to ensure compatibility.

2. Perform a Power Reset

Unplug the Monitor: Disconnect the monitor from the power source.

Press and Hold the Power Button: While unplugged, press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds. This can help discharge any residual power.

Reconnect and Power On: Plug the monitor back in and try turning it on.

I hope this helps.

I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?" Your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍
