I have just done a full reset on my HP Specter x360 and made sure that all the drivers are up to date. I also have a brand new HP Pen which works on other touch displays. Despite all of this, I still cannot get the HP Pen to work.
In case you ask, yes I have checked compliance on both the laptop version and the pen version, and I have not been able to connect other Pens as well.

Welcome to the HP Community.
I cannot find any information that says this model supports an active Pen / Stylus.
HP Pen is not supported on this model.
