Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

An irritating humming-sound coming from the monitor.

It's not always consistent and often changes frequency.

Unplugging it seems to reset it occasionally, but it starts again after a while.

An old question indicates it's a hardware issue with a lose transistor that requires a skilled electronics technician.

However I found a workaround, if you do not use the monitor speakers/audio port:

-Set brightness and Contrast to Max

-Set color to Custom with Max values

-Decrease the monitor sound to zero

(For OST lockout, just hold the menu button down for a while till the menu appears.)
