The HP z2 Mini G9 Workstation i913900 will turn on, but will not display on the two monitors connected to the PC. Both monitors are connected with DP cables, two DP ports on the back for display. My understanding is that the machine was working fine yesterday with both monitors active. The user did not power down for the night, just let the machine and monitors go to sleep. He was able to wake the PC up, but the displays did not come on. He stated that it has been slow to connect with the monitors before sporadically, but always started up and displayed a signal within 30 seconds.

I have tried with multiple DP cables, and with multiple monitors (this is in an office and I have several options). I have not been able to try an DP to HDMI cable though. The HP monitors connected both say that their is no input signal detected. Both monitors work with other computers and laptops.

I have tried unplugging - hard reset both monitors and the PC. Cycled the power and tried to enter the BIOS. Made sure that only the keyboard and mouse were plugged in with one monitor in both ports. We are on a wired LAN. Computer is plugged into a battery backup for surge protection and power loss. Same with the monitors.

This PC was purchased summer of 2023.
