Have HP Pavillion PC (500s). Monitor connect OK 2nd monitor says "no cable connected"

HP Recommended
Pavilion 500 series
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Am trying to connect 2nd monitor. No matter what it says "no cable connected".

What are we doing wrong?

(Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.)

Have you attempted any steps on your own before posting on the HP Forums?

When was the last time it worked without these issues? 

How are you connecting the second monitor? which cable is being used for each of those monitors, please explain?
